Ever wonder why what your friend was taught was so different from what you were taught, and how you really never discussed it.
That is because you liked each other but did not want your parentsÂ’ differences getting in the way of your friendship.
You would ask your parents though about why you were not taught this or that like your friend was, and the response was usually pretty harsh.
Like, we don't believe in that stuff or that is bad.
You soon learned not to even associate your friend with those questions and you soon learned to blame it on schools or something you read.
